The week passes by real fast because school is crazy. The class are really intense because the lecturers cover a lot of stuff each time. It is always playing the catching up game. The assignments and homework are real challenging too. But I like it here as there is a great deal of learning involved in doing the work here. Nevertheless, too much work is never good so when the weekend comes by, the american guys really know how to have fun.

After classes on friday, I headed out to meet some of the Soka members in town for a small gathering at one their houses. We had a lively discussion and I got to meet the other members in the area as well. I was lucky enough to join them tonight because they were having a party to send off a guy called ceasar who is heading to Montreal, Canada come tuesday. So it was out to the club after tonight's gathering. We headed to a club called Aiko along Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. It is an upmarket place and the party was already on the way when we got there.

We party till late at night but the rest of the people there were still going strong and I guess they will party till early morning!

As if we had not enough fun for the first night, there was another farewell party for Ceasar again on Sunday. But this time is was at his place where there were all his friends and family. The soka members in Atlanta comes from a varied background. There were many asians amongst them and I got to meet a couple from Malaysia who have settled down in Atlanta. They were all really nice and treated me to good food.
