The last weekend marked the end of the second week we have been in Georgia Tech. It was 10pm on thurs nigth and the guys decided to have a small meeting. We decided that we wanted to have some fun this coming weekend. There were many crazy plans like taking a flight and going to some exotic place for a weekend getaway. However, that was way too much for most people to mouth. Thus, we decided to go for another roadtrip but this time to somewhere further away. We heard that there is a real scenic town called Savannah on the east coast of Georgia state. The place is known for it beautiful beach and old architecture. The night scene there is also pretty lively and also there are many historical sites. It was decided then within that one hour and we were off packing. The journey began on friday evening after my lesson because I was the only one having lessons till 4pm. It was a trip worth going!

The journey took about 4 hours and the first pit stop was at the petrol kiosk to fill up our stomach and not the car. We had a quick bite and we were on our way again. The journey was long but it was kindda exciting with everyone anticipating a fun weekend at Savannah.
We finally reached our destination after a seemingly endless drive and it was worth the wait because the inn that we put up in was just luxurious. It is the fairfield inns run by Marriot. The inn was just shy of being a full hotel but the facilities and service are real good.
Everyone checking out the room and of course, the TV!
